Following a staff consultation earlier in 2026, Whittan confirmed it is ceasing UK manufacture of the Euro and Stormor shelving ranges at the Brierley Hill site, a change that took effect from 30 June 2026. Local and trade press reporting put the job losses at over 100 once the site's wider footprint is accounted for, closing out more than 70 years of shelving manufacture at that address.
