Gratnell's Antimicrobial Trays - 4 Sizes - Pack of 6/12

The Gratnells Antimicrobial trays are storage trays treated during manufacture with BioCote® silver‑ion antimicrobial additive, giving built‑in, lifelong protection against bacteria, mould and fungi on the tray surface.

What BioCote® does

• BioCote® is integrated into the polypropylene trays (and powder coating on frames/trolleys) so it doesn’t wash off or leach out, and remains effective for the product’s lifetime.
• In lab and classroom testing, BioCote® has been shown to reduce surface bacteria by up to 99.9% within 24 hours and around 97% in classroom studies, helping lower microbial load between cleans.
• The technology is resistant to common cleaning disinfectants and complies with UK/EU Biocidal Products Regulation (GB BPR).

Heights and sizes

Gratnells’ standard antimicrobial trays come in four heights, all with the same footprint (W312 × D427 mm):

• Shallow (F1) – H75 mm
• Deep (F2) – H150 mm
• Extra Deep (F25) – H225 mm
• Jumbo (F3) – H300 mm

Recyclability and materials

The trays are made from fully recyclable polypropylene; Gratnells states that 100% of waste material is reground and reused in production.

They’re BSI‑tested for heavy educational use and offered in multiple colours, including antimicrobial versions in several standard shades.
